(828) 293-8264 email protected Responsibilitieso Provides skilled speech therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients.
o Adheres to state requirements for supervision of SLPAs and Clinical Fellows to provide services with the highest care standardso Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment/ follow up programs.
o Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.
o Maintains patient records confidentially.
o Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner.
o Complies with the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulationsAdditional
Responsibilities:
o Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols.
o Maintains clean work area, clean treatment rooms and requests needed supplies.
o Maintains professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
o Complies with all company policies and procedures.
o Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and otherprofessionals as it relates to collaboration of care for the patient.
o Keeps regular clinic hours as approved by Manager.
o Directs all patient scheduling matters through the front desk coordinator.
o Attends meetings as requested.
o Performs other duties as assignedQualificationso Graduate from an ASHA accredited Speech Therapy programo Current State Speech Therapist licenseo Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHAo Current CPR certificationo Efficient problem-solving skillso Exceptional communication skills and time management skillso Must keep best interest of the client and family at the forefront of all activitieso Collaborative natureo Allegiance to the mission, values, and vision of the organizationRecruiter :
