HRIS Analyst

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization's HR Systems portfolio and related business processes, maximizing the effectiveness of HR operations, and ensuring compliance with recurring legal and regulatory reporting requirements. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of data in PeopleSoft and other HR systems and for managing user security. The HRIS Analyst develops business cases and functional specifications for HR systems enhancements and business process improvements, creates testing plans, coordinates testing, and assists with training and communication to HR System users. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for completing complex workforce reporting and analysis to support all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities Include:
Maintains data structures in PeopleSoft and other HR systems including all reference tables, PeopleSoft security and access to HR systems, on-line reporting and dashboards.
Manages legal reporting requirements and submits information to federal state and other regulatory agencies. Works with 3rd party vendors in preparation and analysis of Affirmative Action plans. Responds to request for workforce information from federal state and local authorities and obtains State Certifications as required to support field bid proposals and awards. Maintains a calendar of recurring legal/regulatory reporting and certification requirements. Submits Regulatory Reporting to appropriate agency accurately and on time, such as EE01, VETS 100, State Certification and Affirmative Action and WEIMS Employment Equity Reporting.
Partners with Information Technology (IT) to provide support and resolution of technical issues impacting HR Data Management and reporting.
Serves as Project Manager for all phases of medium to large-scope projects focused on HR systems enhancements, reporting, business process improvement and/or the interface of data across various internal and external systems.
Designs, implements and supports strategic workforce reporting and analysis; Creates, summarizes, analyzes, and interprets HR Data; Produces HR metrics including but not limited to turnover, time to fill, employee engagement, compensation equity, etc. Provides clear, concise and meaningful workforce information across all levels of the organization.
Provides HR customer support using tools such as the HRIS support mailbox, Service Now system; Works directly with customers at all levels of the organization. Create design, edit reports.
Experience Required:
High School Diploma Required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
3+ years' experience in an HR Analyst role
Advanced Access/Excel skills
Proficiency in PeopleSoft core HR system
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skill

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
