Facility Tank Asset Manager

The Facility Tank Asset Manager (known internally as Asset Manager) is responsible for the data and lifecycle management of our fixed facility tanks throughout North America.
This position will be responsible for asset organization and records/data management of all fixed facility tanks within Clean Harbors systems.
Additionally, lifecycle management oversight includes: asset acquisition and justification, asset deployment, logistics, asset utilization, designing and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules, and final asset disposition or disposal at the end of the lifecycle.
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Proactively collects, modifies, and implements data for all fixed facility tanks throughout North America
Proactively coordinates with remote on-site personnel to update asset information and data systems
Perform desktop asset reviews to ensure units are set up correctly, maintained tracked to correct physical location
Manages the Asset Management Workbench in WIN for his/her particular asset group to include: transfers, rentals, surplus, refurbishments, growth, and replacement assets.
Influences and participates in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of statistical reports related to: maintenance, repairs, utilization, depreciation, and financial performance.
Influences design and oversees implementation of appropriate asset preventative maintenance cycles and repair programs which result in decreased maintenance cost and improved up time of equipment.
Drive continuous improvement of asset performance, including: failure analysis, PM monitoring, condition monitoring, etc.
Assists corporate and regional management with life cycle positioning decisions, and longer term strategic placement and logistics issues.
Assist in financial setup of new and acquired assets
Assist in evaluation and disposition of equipment
Research and set up OEM recommended PM intervals, warranties
Asset Cycle Counts
Review utilization and suggest redeployment to maximize utilization
Assist with sourcing equipment for job opportunities and bids
Effectively manages asset disposal, including agreements and book keeping responsibilities.
Ensures adherence to goals and KPIs established for the specific asset class including utilization, and adherence to preventative maintenance schedules,
Provide expert asset management advice to key Maintenance, Management, and Operations staff.
Keep abreast of advances and technical development within the asset categories of responsibility.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
3+ years work experience in asset management referred
Solid project management skills, effectively manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
Advanced knowledge of entire MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Critical and strategic thinker, able to grasp the big picture and translate the information into actionable activities with demonstrated results.
A "systems" and "process" thinker, with the ability to grasp how things work.
Ability to travel as needed, 15%+

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
