AVP, Financial Analytics

Description About the Position: This is a full-time position that requires direct supervision of the Analytics team. The AVP, Analytics is responsible for creating and maintaining financialreporting tosupport the account teams and client deliverables. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop an overall Analytics Department strategy. Make proactive adjustments based on changes in the industry and organization. Responsible for the delivery of monthly claimsreports, client budget updates, pre-renewal and renewal calculations, and interfacing with actuarial as necessary to meet client needs   Oversee the financial aspects of complex RFPs and marketing reviews for clients interested in alternative funding arrangements. Assist account teams with challenging financial situations by making recommendations on renewal negotiations, funding alternatives, etc. Develop and maintain tracking system for deliverables based on client schedule in order to ensure account teams are meeting appropriate deadlines and client expectations. Assist in training account management in financial matters and funding options. Develop and deliver methodology and tools that will provide clients with better financialreporting, renewal planning and negotiation. Manage Analytics team structure and monitor team workload to determine capacity to take on new clients. Oversee the training and education of new team members. Identify training needs and work withHR to find solutions. Monitor high profile accounts on a quarterly basis for emerging financial issues. Maintain high level of healthcare industry knowledge and an in-depth understanding of Health Care Reform by attending seminars, sales meetings or educational activities. Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Ability to correspond on all financial issues in a clear, concise and persuasive manner. Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and coworkers. Working knowledge of the group insurance marketplace, carrier products and services. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong management and leadership skills. Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct supervision of the Analytics team Education and/or Experience: Health insurance underwritingrequired. Four year college or university degree. Finance/Statistics/Mathematicspreferred. 6 + years in an analyst role; experience in leadership role preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
