Producer (Advisor), Retirement Services br

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Target assigned account list of prospects and develop new business relationships
Develop relationships with internal team members, prospect contacts, and existing NFPCS clients
Develop and adhere to prospecting plan
Identify current NFPCS clients to cross-sell retirement services
Qualify opportunities and develop opportunity strategy
Recommend solutions to prospects as appropriate
Lead the development of sales proposals and presentations that are consistent with NFPCS standards
Work collaboratively with account management teams to close business
Negotiate and finalize contracts and pricing
Meet key metrics including revenue and number of prospects in pipeline, meetings per month and closed sales
Comply with sales reporting requirements
Ensure all client data is entered into CRM System (SalesForce) in a timely manner
Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities
Ability to quickly learn business model and value proposition
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must maintain appropriate licenses
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of five years of sales experience, preferably in human resources-related field
Proven success selling services and working in a consultative sales role
Retirement plan knowledge required
College degree or equivalent experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
Series 6 or 7
Series 65 or 66
Series 63
Life, Accident and Health License preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
